It’s important to know that you’re not alone. Our campus and community have many resources to help students with a wide range of needs. These resources are here for you!   • Confidential Campus Support

    Madison College Counseling Services provides confidential on-campus counseling for students and can be reaching at 608-246-6076. Experienced staff members are available from 8am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 9:30am-4:30pm on Fridays. Same-day appointment services are available during these hours for urgent concerns.

    BetterMynd is an online counseling platform specifically for college students. Madison College Students can receive six free counseling sessions.

    Legal advice is available through a partnership with Law for Learners which can connect you with legal help specific to your unique situation. Help is available for a range of legal issues including immigration and name and gender changes.

  • Community Resources for Students and Employees

    Journey Mental Health Center is a nonprofit behavioral health agency serving Dane County that offers a full range of services including therapy for adults and children for mental health and substance use disorders.  Learn more at journeymhc.org or by calling 608-280-2700.

    Faith-Based Communities can be excellent sources of mental health and other types of support in challenging times. If you are part of a faith community, consider reaching out to your faith leader or another trusted advisor for support..  Madison College also has some faith-based student clubs.

    Workplace Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are voluntary, work-based programs that offer free and confidential assessments, short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees who have person and/or work-related problems.  Check with your employer to see if you have access to an EAP.  (Madison College employees, including student employees, are eligible to use the Madison College EAP).

    Community Immigration Law Center strives to ensure dignity and access to justice for people, especially those facing deportation, by providing legal representation and consultations, as well as support and education regarding immigration issues for the community at large.  Learn more at cilcmadison.org or by calling 608-640-4444.
