The Yahara Journal and the United Common Ground are hosting a Banned Books Week open mic in the Intercultural Exchange on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Stop in and read a passage from your favorite book from the American Library Association's list of frequently challenged books. Find the list on the ALA website. 

We'll also have Banned Books Week-themed bookmarks that you can design during the event.
