This Is Yahara

Yahara Journal brings the Madison College community together through writing, visual art, and shared creative experiences. Throughout the year, we create opportunities to explore ideas, develop your craft, share your work, and experience what others are creating.

From Banned Books Week activities, poetry readings, and open mics to art shows, writing contests, and National Novel Writing Month activities, there is always another way to participate, discover something new, or bring an idea to the community.

And at the heart of it all is our annual print journal featuring student work.

We meet weekly throughout the school year, and every Yahara Journal member has the opportunity to take part in reviewing, editing, and selecting the work that becomes part of the publication.
