About Us

The Yahara Journal will support learning and creativity at Madison College through the publication of a print journal and the sponsorship of events and activities that facilitate growth in writing and visual arts. To help us acheive this mission, we host a variety of events and activities throughout the school year, including: -Banned Book Week Activities -Poetry Readings -Open Mics -Art Show -Writing Contests -National Novel Writing Month Activites -Annual publication of a journal of student work We meet weekly throughout the school year. All members of the Yahara Journal are involved in the editing and selection of items for publication in the journal.
