Welcome new members of Phi Theta Kappa to official induction into the Society!!
All new members and current members who have not yet participated in an induction ceremony (live or virtual) are invited to participate. All inductees will receive a membership medallion and PTK membership t-shirt. Your friends and family are welcome to attend.
NEW MEMBERS - Plan to arrive not later than 6:30 for check-in and staging. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00.
Business attire is most appropriate for this ceremony.
You must attend the ceremony to receive an induction medallion and chapter t-shirt swag.
A reception will follow the ceremony. Refreshments typically include fruit, pork and beef meatballs, and cookies. Please make personal arrangements if dietary restrictions are required.
Photos are welcome during the event, but please remain off stage. Photographers will capture photos of your awards, which will be available after the ceremony.
Parking is available in the Truax Student Parking Lot. No permit will be required for this event. Directions, Parking and Map at https://students.madisoncollege.edu/parking.

Captions: the live stream has built-in closed captioning you can access from the meeting controls.

Madison College welcomes all participants. We do normally ask that all new members be seated in the theater and ascent/descent the stage stairs as part of the ceremony. The PTK team is looking for some volunteers to help at our new member Induction Ceremony. Be part of the biggest PTK celebration of the term!
Any current student can volunteer to help.
We are seeking helpers for
- event setup
- event check in
- coat check (before and after the ceremony),
- food guard since food will be setup while the ceremony is happening. this person will ensure non-event attendees don't eat it all before the ceremony is over.
- ushers to direct new members and award groups to the stage.
All volunteers are welcome to enjoy the ceremony reception refreshments.
Volunteers can submit service hours toward the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award.
PTK members can submit service hours toward the PTK President's Challenge badges.
PTK Pre-Members can use this involvement toward their membership discount.
