Non-partisan Advocacy The Club will maintain a non-partisan stance, focusing on the abolition of war without endorsing or opposing any political candidates, parties, or platforms. The issue of war is viewed as a global humanitarian concern, transcending party lines. Commitment to Nonviolence The Club is committed to nonviolence in both words and actions. Members shall promote peaceful resolutions to conflicts and strive to create a culture of peace on campus and in society at large. Education and Awareness The Club will work to raise awareness and educate its members, the campus, and the broader community about the human, environmental, and economic costs of war. This includes discussions, events, and initiatives aimed at informing people of alternatives to war and militarism. Global Solidarity The Club acknowledges that the effects of war and militarism are global. We stand in solidarity with communities worldwide impacted by violence, war, and exploitation, and seek to foster cooperation between peace activists around the world. Environmental Justice Recognizing the intersection between militarism and environmental degradation, the Club will advocate for sustainable practices and policies, aiming to reduce the environmental impacts of war and the military-industrial complex.
