Our Pledge to You We, the student senators of Madison College, have pledged to represent the interests of all students, to promote student/faculty understanding, to participate in community affairs that concern, involve or affect our students, and, above all, to encourage students to become involved in the educational and social activities of Madison College. Our purpose as your Madison College Student Senate is to: Represent the voice of students at all Madison Area Technical College campuses. Act as a liaison between the administration and the student body. Encourage improvement of the college and its surroundings. Communicate accurate information to the student body concerning the promotion of vocational and adult education within the community. The Student Senate at Madison Area Technical College was established in 1961. Wisconsin State Statute 38.145 provides legal basis for the role of student government in matters of the college.
