A Madison College premier event, the pow wow is a Spring tradition held at the Truax Campus.

Come to the Redsten Gym on Saturday April 27th. Doors will open to the public at 11am.

Over 20 vendors will sell their wares in the Gym.
The Native American Student Association (NASA) is sponsoring a Taco Stand between 11am-3pm in the Cafeteria.
Silent Auction items can be bid on at the NASA table.
Grand Entries will be at 1pm and 7pm. Grand entries are the start of the pow wow when all the dancers enter into the Gym. It provides us the first opportunity to see the various dancers, the styles, and hear the drummers singing.
A powwow reminds us to remember our past, celebrate our present, and build our future. As we celebrate the achievements of our students, it is important to recognize the communities to which they are a part of. Any student, staff, faculty, or community member is welcome to attend. Admission to the event is free.

Sponsored by the Division of College Culture and Climate, the Intercultural Exchange, the Native American Student Association along with support from numerous campus offices, this truly is a community gathering.
