Hello Runners,
I hope your classes are going well, and happy holidays!
We have officially wrapped up our running club meetups for the semester, so there will be no more scheduled runs between now and the end of the year. A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined and participated—I truly appreciate your involvement!
Special thanks to Ray and Enzo for being such wonderful leaders and guiding our runs throughout the semester. And a big shoutout to our club advisor, Nisa Giaquinto, for helping us with the shirts and keeping this club going.
ALSO - Congratulations to Ray, who will be transferring to UW–Madison next semester! They will be greatly missed.
With that in mind, we are actively looking for new board members to help lead runs, send email reminders or create posters. If you are interested, please reach out! We are looking to bring in new people and transfer all the necessary information before Ray and I both move on next semester.
Lastly, if you haven’t received your shirt for attending the running club meetups, you can pick it up at the STEM Center (Room A2101) on Mondays or Thursdays from 9 AM–1 PM. Just ask for Mari (that’s me!). I work at the STEM Center during those times and can hand you your shirt. If those times don’t work, feel free to email me to set up a time—I’m usually on campus Monday through Friday.
As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or comments. Wishing you all a great end of the semester and happy holidays!
Thank you,
The Running Club
