In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we have invited Andrea Muniz to share her journey as a textile artist. Andrea's work is inspired by the vibrant traditions of Mexico and the power of embroidery to connect people through shared stories and lived experiences. Whether you're picking up a needle for the first time or already enjoy fiber arts, everyone is welcome.
[ABOUT US]
The Intercultural Exchange invites you to explore cultures and communities beyond your own. Student Life’s Intercultural Exchange is a space that creates opportunities for students to build meaningful connections and deepen their understanding of diverse cultures, perspectives, traditions, and lived experiences.
The Catching Culture series is a monthly program that highlights Wisconsin artists, cultural practitioners, and community members who share their personal stories, cultural heritage, and creative traditions through interactive presentations and hands-on experiences.
All Madison College students are invited to RSVP. Some workshops have limited capacity to create a more intimate learning environment, allowing artists to provide hands-on, one-on-one guidance and meaningful cultural engagement.
