You're Invited!
February is packed with culture, connection, and celebration at the Intercultural Exchange and we’d love for you to be part of it!
The Intercultural Exchange is here to celebrate you: your culture, your stories, and your lived experiences. This month, we’re hosting a lineup of exciting programs that bring students together through food, creativity, and shared experiences. Many events feature cultural snacks and provide opportunities to connect with peers from diverse backgrounds.
Here’s what’s coming up:
THE HISTORY OF SOUL FOOD — Wednesday, February 11
We’re excited to welcome Chef Marissa from Marie’s Soul Food Restaurant to the Intercultural Exchange. She’ll share her journey as a Black-owned business owner and explore the cultural significance of soul food. All students are invited to enjoy a soul food tasting following the talk. RSVP encouraged so we can make sure there’s enough food for everyone!
LUNAR NEW YEAR - Thursday, February 12
Lunar New Year is almost here! The Intercultural Exchange is partnering with the Asian American Student Association to host a festive celebration. Join us as we make Chinese knots and lanterns, decorate the space, and enjoy dumplings and a variety of snacks together.
Global Showcase — Call for Talent!
We’re looking for performers, artists, and creators to represent their culture at the Global Showcase. The application deadline has been extended to Tuesday, February 17, but spots are limited. You’ll have a full month to prepare, and we’ll support you every step of the way. Apply today and let us know what you’d like to share!
We can’t wait to celebrate with you this February. Stop by, bring a friend, and be part of the experience!
