Hello Future Healthcare Professionals (FHP) Club members,
Please join us for a simulation on what it may be like to have dementia. On Wednesday, November 11 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m at the Watertown Campus, Dementia Care Specialist, Tonya Runyard, of Jefferson County ADRC will walk us through a briefing, the Dementia Live Experience, and an empowerment session. Participants will gain a heightened awareness of the challenges associated with living with dementia and leave with valuable tips and tools to improve communication and connection necessary as a healthcare worker.
Transportation provided. We will depart from the Health Education Building on Truax Campus at 9:00 a.m. and return by noon. We hope you choose to take advantage of this opportunity to set yourself apart as a healthcare provider. Space is limited. Maximum registration of eight participants.
Kind regards,
Amy
