Celebrate Hmong heritage, family, and tradition at Madison College’s Hmong New Year Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 6. The free community event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Truax Campus Cafeteria Atrium, Room D1630, and Redsten Gymnasium.

Guests will experience a vibrant day of Hmong music, dance, food, art and community, featuring local food vendors, an arts and crafts marketplace, children’s activity stations, and community resource tables.

New this year are a singing competition for high school and college students and a cornhole tournament open to amateur players ages 12 and up. Doors open at 10 a.m., with early competitions beginning before the main celebration kicks off at 11 a.m.
